Alicia Delory is the author of "Something is Better Than Nothing," and was born and raised in Warwick, RI.  She relocated to Atlanta, GA with her family in 2005, and spent time living on a military installation in Germany from 2010 to 2012.  She and her husband returned to Georgia and settled down in Savannah where they now live with their daughter.

Alicia is a Georgia Southern University graduate and holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Fairfield University.  She currently works as a freelance writer, editor, and content strategist, and is hard at work on her second book.  She recently spoke at TEDxEvansStreet 2023, and her short piece "PATIO" was featured in the anthology "Red Flags: Tales of Love and Instinct," released by Running Wild Press in February 2023.

When she's not working or chasing her kid around, she enjoys reading, making ridiculous videos on BookTok, working out, cooking, improv, arts & crafts, and binge watching shows she's seen dozens of times.
